The Class of '63 is planning a 45th reunion the weekend of October 3 - 5, 2008. The major event will be dinner on Saturday night, October 4, in White Plains. There will be an “ice breaker” at a local bar Friday night and various activities during the day on Saturday plus Sunday morning. More details will follow as they are available. John Isaacs and Ellen Beckwith organized a mini-reunion of White Plains High School Class of 1963 classmates living in the Washington, D.C. area. The event was held on June 4, 2006. Those who attended include Catherine (Bernheim) Gwin, Paul Janov, Linda (Eiberger) Lessey-Middleton and her husband Jay, Nina (Wilson) Lihn & her husband Roger Wiederhorn WPHS Class of 1961, Ed & Nancy Rappa and Betsy (Krock) Barron. It was all part of a slow buildup to a classwide 50th reunion in 2013 and a possible 45th reunion in in 2008. In addition, four high school couples that have remained friends lo these many years have established a new post-40th reunion tradition to get together annually. Those four couples include Sid & Linda Sapakie (Florida), Bob & Lynn Sprague (California),Steve & Marion (Goertzel) Stern (San Antonio) and John & Amy Isaacs (Washington, D.C.). In October 2006 they gathered in Washington, D.C. Previous gatherings have been held in Minneapolis and Lake Tahoe and a fourth is scheduled for San Antonio in October 2007.
